Our History
Seay Real Estate
Who & Where We Are / How in the World We Got Here
Chad Seay started selling real estate in 1990 as an agent for Kenny Wilbourne Realty and Construction Company on Nine Mile Rd. in Highland Springs, VA. In 1996, along with partners, Chad founded Century 21 Select Real Estate with offices on the east and west sides of Richmond. Chad’s office, near the intersection of Creighton and Cold Harbor Roads in Mechanicsville, known as Simpkins Corner, was established in the old “Simpkins House.” With the help of partner Walton Construction Company, the old farmhouse had been renovated and this structure continues to serve as office space for Seay Real Estate today. The homey feel and traditional construction of the house has been appreciated by clients, agents, and employees ever since.
After 10 years of operating as a Century 21 franchise, the Mechanicsville office changed it’s name and began operating as Seay Real Estate in 2006 offering their services to Richmond and all surrounding counties including Hanover, Henrico, New Kent, Charles City, Chesterfield, King William, King & Queen, Goochland, Louisa and Powhatan. Located less than one mile from I-295 on and off ramps, Seay Real Estate is easily accessible from all points in and around Richmond.
When you hire Seay Real Estate to help you buy or sell real estate, rather than getting one agent to assist you, you get a team of committed professionals and service that far exceeds what can be offered by an individual agent. Seay Real Estate associates love what they do and count it a privilege and honor to represent their clients in the buying and selling of residential real estate.
